The Two-Day Schedule

Southwest Funga Fest unfolds across two full days of field exploration, workshops, classes, community programming, a festival keynote and evening gathering.

The daily rhythm is set. The full event-by-event schedule is still being completed.

Presenter assignments, exact session placement and some special activities are still being finalized. Use this page as the current framework for planning your weekend, and stay tuned for the complete Saturday and Sunday schedule.

Current Daily Rhythm

8:00 AM–12:30 PM
Guided Foray Morning field exploration with an anticipated return by approximately 12:30 PM, and no later than about 1:00 PM.
9:00–10:30 AM
Morning Workshop I Hands-on and participatory learning while the morning foray is also underway.
11:00 AM–12:30 PM
Morning Workshop II A second workshop period before the afternoon presentation schedule begins.
1:30–5:00 PM
Afternoon Classes & Presentations Up to six classes across two stages during three presentation periods.
1:30–2:30 PM
2:45–3:45 PM

5:30–6:30 PM
Community Panel A shared conversation bringing festival voices together at the end of the daytime program.
6:30–8:00 PM
Featured Evening Programming Including the Southwest Funga Fest keynote and other featured programming as the final schedule is confirmed.

Music & Evening Gathering Stay into the evening for music, community and the social side of Southwest Funga Fest.
