Description
Alan Rockefeller is a mycologist, photographer, and DNA-barcoding specialist who has photographed more than 3,000 species of fungi. He has spent more than two decades documenting mushrooms throughout North and South America, coauthored papers describing new species of Psilocybe and bioluminescent Mycena, and contributed more than 400,000 identifications to iNaturalist and Mushroom Observer.
In A Little Bit of Everything, Alan will share a lively mix of Central America, photography, Psilocybe, New Mexico and Arizona, iNaturalist, and more. He will cover his workflow for making strong photographs quickly, Southwest Psilocybe, iNaturalist tips and tricks, and compelling work from Central and South America.
This event is open to anyone interested. No one will be turned away for lack of funds; please contact us directly if cost is a barrier.
