Two days of festival programming, workshops, education, outdoor gatherings, and primitive camping among the trees near the Nambe Rio.

Before You Go

Pack for the Outdoors

Warm days, cooler evenings, natural terrain, possible rain, and camping all call for layers, sun protection, sturdy footwear, and a water bottle.

Bring reusable dining items, extra water, trash bags, and anything needed to comfortably care for yourself at an outdoor gathering.

Southwest Funga Fest 2026 takes place at the Kiva Bear site within Nambe Falls Recreation Area on the Pueblo of Nambe. When you arrive at the recreation area, follow Southwest Funga Fest signs.

Fire Safety & Respect for the Land

No campfires are allowed at this time. Absolutely no fireworks are permitted anywhere at the festival.

Follow all posted restrictions, use designated smoking and cooking areas only, and report smoke or fire immediately to festival staff or authorities.
