How to Get to Southwest Funga Fest

Southwest Funga Fest 2026 takes place at the Kiva Bear  Site within Nambe Falls Recreation Area on the Pueblo of Nambe. When you arrive at the recreation area, follow the Southwest Funga Fest signs. The property is near other campsites and people enjoying the land, so please be respectful of our neighbors.

Driving from the South — Albuquerque

  1. Get on I-25 N from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave NE.
  2. Continue on I-25 N toward Pojoaque.
  3. From Pojoaque, drive toward Poechunu Poe.
  4. Continue to Nambe Falls Recreation Area, 544 Poechunu Poe, Santa Fe, NM 87506.
  5. Once inside the recreation area, follow Southwest Funga Fest signs to the Bear Kiva Site.

Driving from the North — Taos

  1. Follow NM-68 S out of Taos.
  2. Continue onto US-84 E / US Hwy 285 S.
  3. Turn left onto NM-503 / High Rd to Taos / Nambe Rd and continue on NM-503.
  4. Turn right onto Poechunu Poe.
  5. Continue to Nambe Falls Recreation Area, 544 Poechunu Poe, Santa Fe, NM 87506.
  6. Once inside the recreation area, follow Southwest Funga Fest signs to the Bear Kiva Site.

Google Maps is the recommended navigation method for the exact festival area. After entering Nambe Falls Recreation Area, follow the festival signs. Please drive carefully and respect the Pueblo of Nambe, recreation-area visitors, neighboring campsites, wildlife, and the land.
